System Evolution
The system is transitioning from a template-ready state to an operationally governed state. The establishment of the Architecture Work Registry shifts the source of truth for planning from generated artifacts to persistent logs. The CAS Workflow Execution Model standardizes how reasoning is decoupled from orchestration, supported by the Knowledge Provider abstraction. Automation is increasing with runtime-native Architecture Work generation and the Governance Portal implementation.
Intent & Direction
CAS is moving toward an Architecture Intelligence Platform. Key future initiatives include Business Intent Integration to trace requirements to code, and Code Intelligence for automated drift detection. ReasoningOps and GovernanceOps will embed governance into delivery. Long-term goals include an Interactive Architecture Intelligence Map and a Knowledge Graph for cross-project intelligence.
