Current State Alignment

The system is currently 'partially_aligned'. While the technical foundations (decoupled reasoning, knowledge abstractions) are implementation-complete, the governance layer is lagging with a 15:1 velocity bottleneck and a lack of formal business intent integration.

Focus Areas / Roadmap

  • Phase 1: Institutionalize Architecture Work Registry as the single authoritative planning source.
  • Phase 2: Operationalize the 'Detect-Analyse-Execute' automated reasoning loop to address the velocity bottleneck.
  • Phase 3: Formalize and integrate the Business Intent Schema into the Alignment Engine.
  • Phase 4: Deploy the Architecture Knowledge Graph for advanced impact analysis and lineage.

  • Governance Velocity Lag: Proposal generation exceeds review capacity (15:1 ratio).
  • Persistence Drift: The Architecture Work Registry is not yet the authoritative source for all generation cycles.
  • Semantic Gap: Absence of a formal schema to ingest and map business-level strategic intent.
  • Traceability Drift: Visual diagrammatic representations are lagging behind accepted ADRs.

Emergent Heuristics

governance_velocity_limit: If the ratio of proposed to accepted items exceeds 10:1, automation of reasoning loops must be prioritized over new feature extraction. pattern_promotion_trigger: Done implementations remaining in PENDING for more than 14 days should trigger an automatic governance escalation.
