Current State Alignment

The system is in a 'Critical' state due to a Governance Velocity Breach. While foundational capabilities are implemented, there is a significant lag in formalizing decisions (Persistence Lag) and a massive backlog of unvalidated proposals.

Focus Areas / Roadmap

  • Immediate triage and pruning of the 22-item proposal backlog.
  • Backfill and formalize ADRs for Registry, Portal, and Workflow Execution Model.
  • Establish legal standing for the Architecture Work Registry via formal decision record.
  • Define migration path from Markdown to structured YAML/JSON for all governance artifacts.
  • Prototype Business Intent Schema integration.

Gaps & Tensions (Risks)

  • Governance Velocity Breach: Intelligence generation (15:1) outpaces architect validation capacity.
  • Persistence Lag: Key system components are implemented but lack formal ACCEPTED ADRs.
  • Paradox of Authority: The Architecture Work Registry is operational but lacks legal standing as a source of truth.
  • Schema Transition Gap: Shift from Markdown-narrative to structured YAML/JSON for reasoning loops is not yet roadmapped.
