Vision Driver
The future vision calls for an interactive Architecture Intelligence Map, decision flow visualization, pattern relationship graph, timeline of architecture evolution, and a future knowledge graph layer for complex queries.
Current State
CAS has static diagram artifacts, architecture maps, intent documents, and relationship-bearing frontmatter. These provide architectural visibility, but exploration remains document-centric rather than graph-centric or interactive.
Desired Future State
CAS should provide an explorable architecture intelligence layer where architects can navigate decisions, patterns, architecture work, maps, intent, code evidence, and business intent as connected knowledge. The same relationship model should support visual exploration and structured queries.
Evolution Gap
The gap is a first-class relationship graph model and interaction layer. Current artifacts contain relationships, but they are not yet normalized into a governed graph that can power visualization, timelines, impact analysis, or cross-project queries.
Why This Matters
Interactive architecture intelligence makes CAS usable as an exploration and reasoning platform, not only a document generator. Architecturally, it reveals relationships and change impact. Governance improves because decision lineage and pattern evolution become easier to inspect. Operationally, it reduces the cost of understanding why the system evolved.
